Two independent cultures built on creativity, rebellion, community and doing things your own way collide once again when Jetty presents Back to the Garage, a special night of Punk Rock x Hip Hop at the Jetty Flagship Store in Manahawkin, New Jersey. On Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the Jersey Shore and Philadelphia Hip Hop communities come together for an evening celebrating Jetty's DYOL — "Draw Your Own Line" — roots, with music from Break Luck, Dell-P, Mad Squablz & DJ Ghetto, Chris Rockwell, Pracyce and DJ Kotta Ranks. More importantly, this is music with a purpose: the event poster states that all proceeds will benefit the Jetty Rock Foundation and The Hip Hop Foundation of Philadelphia!
Punk Rock and Hip Hop may have developed through different musical traditions, but culturally they have always had a great deal in common. Both movements were created from the ground up. Both gave young artists ways to make something powerful without waiting for permission from the mainstream music industry. Both created their own venues, flyers, fashion, slang, record labels, visual identities and independent distribution networks. That DIY philosophy is particularly appropriate for Jetty.
Jetty traces its beginning to 2003, when five friends pooled $200 each after a trip to the mountains. The company says it was created around their shared interests in surfing, fishing, art, travel and music, ultimately developing its "Draw Your Own Line" philosophy around independently pursuing one's passions. That history makes Back to the Garage more than the name of a concert. It is a reference to the independent, garage-built culture that helped establish Jetty in the first place.

Break Luck: Punk Rock

Break Luck brings the Punk Rock side of the program to Back to the Garage.
The band has been active in the regional punk circuit, including 2026 coverage and airplay through PoGo City Radio, where Break Luck has appeared alongside East Coast and underground punk acts. The group has also appeared on New Jersey punk bills and has had recorded work associated with the Poor Man NJ independent scene.
Their appearance gives Back to the Garage the raw live-band energy necessary for an event designed around Jetty's punk and DIY roots.

Philadelphia emcee Dell-P represents the socially conscious, lyric-driven tradition of independent Hip Hop. His catalog includes projects such as We Owe The World and The People's Emcee, along with collaborations involving artists including Grand Puba, Wise Intelligent and Tracey Lee. His work extends beyond recording into artist development and community-centered Hip Hop programming.
Dell-P created Philadelphia's Good Jawn Music Festival, an initiative centered on giving independent artists meaningful performance opportunities while keeping authentic Hip Hop culture connected to the community.
At Back to the Garage, Dell-P brings Philadelphia lyricism directly into a space designed to connect two historically independent music cultures.

Philadelphia lyricist and producer Mad Squablz has built a reputation around technical rhyme ability, unpredictable flows and a dedication to lyricism.
His profile received an especially significant national boost through his appearance connected to LL COOL J's THE FORCE, the Q-Tip-produced album that also features artists including Eminem, Nas, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe and Rick Ross.
Alongside him is DJ Ghetto, bringing the turntablist component of Hip Hop into the program. Philadelphia references to DJ Ghetto extend back years; he has been an important early influence on Philadelphia DJ Aktive, particularly in teaching the performance and showmanship side of DJing.
DJ Ghetto has also appeared alongside Mad Squablz on previous Philadelphia Hip Hop bills.

Chris Rockwell is an especially natural fit for Back to the Garage because his career already exists at the intersection of independent Hip Hop, poetry and the Jersey Shore music community.
Rockwell is a Jersey Shore Hip Hop artist and spoken-word poet who has spent more than a decade organizing cultural events throughout the tri-state area. He is also a former Poet Laureate of Asbury Park. His performance history includes stages connected to artists ranging from Nappy Roots, Keith Murray, Joe Budden and Das EFX to 311, Alien Ant Farm and Bootsy Collins.
That ability to move between Hip Hop and alternative music spaces embodies exactly what Back to the Garage is designed to celebrate.
Pracyce: South Jersey Meets Philadelphia Hip Hop

South Jersey emcee Pracyce brings a lyric-focused performance style with strong ties to the Philadelphia/New Jersey independent Hip Hop circuit.
Based in Paulsboro, New Jersey, Pracyce has maintained a catalog of independent Hip Hop recordings and continues appearing on regional Hip Hop stages.
He is also connected to The Hip Hop Foundation of Philadelphia's performance network and appears on the Foundation's September 2026 AirPlay Concert programming.
His involvement in Back to the Garage further strengthens the cultural bridge between South Jersey, the Jersey Shore and Philadelphia.

DJ Kotta Ranks brings the foundation of Hip Hop DJ culture to Back to the Garage.
His history includes hosting a radio program on 89.9 WLIU, where his interviews included emerging artists who would become major names in Hip Hop, including Queen Latifah, A Tribe Called Quest, Redman, EPMD and Das EFX. His experience has also included artist management, record production, vinyl manufacturing, distribution and merchandise development.
Today, Kotta Ranks is a co-creator of The Prospective Podcast, a Philadelphia-based Hip Hop interview and music platform produced with ULTRAMAG7.
There is also a direct connection between Kotta Ranks and Back to the Garage history: The Prospective Podcast documented Back to the Garage II, helping preserve the event as more than a concert by recording the artists, conversations and cultural connections happening inside the Jetty Flagship Store.

Founded in New Jersey in 2003, Jetty grew from five friends, a shared collection of passions and an entrepreneurial decision to create something of their own. Surfing and fishing are central to the brand's coastal identity, but art and music were also part of Jetty's foundation from the beginning.
