On June 27, 2026, thousands of MCs, DJs, dancers, youth groups, and culture-bearers will come together to attempt something no city on earth has ever done:
The Largest Continuous Hip Hop Cypher in World History! This living, breathing musical rotation is planned to last 12+ hours with the goal of 1000 artists+ non-stop bars, non-stop energy, and non-stop unity. And to make it happen…
WE NEED POWERFUL VOLUNTEERS LIKE YOU!
This event cannot succeed without a dedicated team on the front lines; helping organize crowds, support artists, assist media teams, maintain cypher flow, and create a safe, welcoming environment for thousands of visitors.
As a volunteer, you will:
- Play a direct role in a Guinness World Record event
- Receive a Certificate of Service recognizing your contribution
- Be acknowledged on our official website
- Gain behind-the-scenes access and leadership experience
- Help uplift Hip Hop culture in its purest form
- Be part of history

What We Need Our Volunteers To Do
1. Artist Check-In Team
Duties:
- Greet rappers and performers
- Verify registration
- Distribute artist badges
- Confirm stage name & ID
- Direct artists to rotation queues
- Skills Needed:
- Customer service, organization, professionalism
2. Wristband & ID Distribution
Duties:
- Manage pre-sorted lists
- Color-code wristbands by category (artist, staff, media, VIP)
- Issue volunteer wristbands
- Track wristband inventory
3. Cypher Rotation Stewards (Guinness Requirement)
30+ required Duties:
- Maintain order in the rotation line
- Ensure each MC gets proper bar count
- Keep cypher circle at proper width
- Report any violations
- Communicate between DJs and stage manager
- Leadership, attention to detail, movement control
4. Media & Photography Support
Duties:
- Assist official media teams
- Coordinate crowd flow for cameras
- Keep paths clear for drones & overhead cameras
- Manage on-site interview queues
- Guide press to credential station
5. Water Station & Hydration Team
Duties:
- Distribute bottled water
- Maintain heat-safety zones
- Monitor dehydration and alert EMT
- Refill coolers
6. Info Booth / Guest Services
Duties:
- Provide directions
- Answer general questions
- Manage lost & found
- Assist tourists & families
- Coordinate ADA access
7. Setup Crew (June 26–27)
Duties:
- Tent setup
- Banner installation
- Table/chair placement
- Crowd barrier positioning
- Signage installation
- 8. Breakdown Crew (June 27–28)
- Duties:
- Dismantle tents
- Pack equipment
- Remove signage
- Assist vendors and partners
9. Community Ambassador Team
Duties:
- Welcome guests
- Encourage crowd hype
- Promote donor QR codes
- Help direct foot traffic
- Represent the spirit of Hip Hop culture
10. Vendor Support Team
Duties:
- Assist vendors with setup
- Ensure they know layout rules
- Help maintain clean vendor areas
VOLUNTEER TRAINING PLAN
1. Mandatory Virtual Orientation (45 minutes)

2. On-Site Training (Morning of June 27)
Covers:
- Station assignments
- Radio usage (select volunteers)

🎯 TARGET VOLUNTEER GOAL
To operate the World Record Cypher successfully, you will need:
150–225 volunteers total, broken into a 3-shift schedule.
(Guinness Stewards require at least 30 alone.)
