Join the reimagined Lyrically Fit Concert Series, a monthly celebration of independent Hip Hop culture and community impact. Held every first Saturday from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, starting July 2025, this dynamic event spotlights lyrical mastery while raising funds for vital community programs. Lyrically Fit will directly donate and support the youth program, “How Dope Are You?"
Be sure you are a subscribed member of The Hip Hop Foundation website before you send booking information. Non members are not eligible for event performances.
Your booking information should include Artists Bio or EPK, website or social media links, YouTube channel, and music streaming links like Spotify, Bandcamp, etc.
This information is essential to booking in the Lyrically Fit Concert Series.

"How Dope Are You?” is a monthly open mic series organized by the, Blackwell Culture Alliance in Philadelphia, aiming to provide a platform for young performing artists to express themselves creatively while promoting anti-gun violence messages. Founded by community leader Sajda "Purple" Blackwell, the event challenges participants to perform without using curse words and to address the issue of gun violence through their music. Winners receive a $1,000 prize, encouraging positive artistic expression.
The event fosters a supportive environment, beginning with a "healing circle" where survivors and families affected by gun violence share their experiences. Since its inception in 2021, "How Dope Are You?" has grown from a small gathering into a significant community event, contributing to local anti-violence efforts.
By performing, you not only showcase your talent but also support transformative initiatives like the "How Dope Are You?" Youth Hip Hop Performance Workshop by the Blackwell Culture Alliance, which promotes positive artistic expression and anti-gun violence messages

The Hip Hop Foundation is a member supported nonprofit organization. To encourage sponsorships and donors in the future we rely on the true Hip Hoppers in the culture to represent! Especially for the youth coming up in the community. Just like the first Hip Hop show in Sedgwick Projects in 1973.

Lyrically Fit All-Stars (Multiple Past Performances) If you were in 3 or more Lyrically Fit events on record, flyers and posters. You are a Lyrically Fit All-Star!
All-star artists eligible to headline without a donation (though contributions are encouraged to support the cause).
Spotlighted in the "Legends Of" Documentary Series debuting on The Hip Hop Foundation website.
Featured as a guest on Hipolitics Weekly Radio Show on WJYN Uptown Radio 98.5FM (Saturdays starting April).
