The Hip Hop Foundation is currently looking for individuals who have interests in creating events throughout Philadelphia for our nonprofit foundation. If you have skills and experience booking venues and creating performance events for hip hop or poetry shows, this is the job for you! This project is best suited for experienced & non-experienced event planners, event coordinators, & event curators who have a strong artistic vision & interest in creating fundraising events that will attract the attention of donors & sponsors. Must be able to create promotional strategies & develop event budgets. QUALIFICATIONS ARE:
-scouting locations, soliciting bids, creating, and negotiating contracts
-identifying and booking competent speakers, performers, etc.
-managing vendor relationships
-raising funds & managing budgets
-Work in close collaboration with the Executive Director.
